公告:新會員制度將於2025年實施
notice: New membership policy coming in 2025!
為了簡化、改善流程和更新會員資料庫,愛城台灣同鄉會即將於2025年開始實施新的會員管理制度。我們理解目前的會籍起始日不容易追蹤紀錄,因此造成偶爾會籍過期未及時繳費的情形。同鄉會理事也因此需在各活動另外確認各會員的會籍有效日期,管理及更新資料庫也有諸多困難。因此,我們即將在2025年1月1日做以下變動。
In an effort to simplify the management process and improve transparency, Edmonton Taiwanese Association will adopt a new membership management process in 2025. We understand it is hard for our members to keep track of their membership expiry date in the current state. This also makes it difficult for our board members to validate your membership status at each individual event. Therefore, the below changes will come into effect starting on January 1, 2025.

年度會籍起始日 | Membership annual start and expiry dates

現有制度:符合資格的社區成員可在一年當中任何日期加入會員或更新會籍,如此也導致各會員的會籍起始日隨機不一,會員不易即時補繳新年度會費,也造成追蹤管理上的困難。

新制度:符合資格的社區成員需在年初(每年一月份)加入會員或更新會籍並且繳交年度會費,會籍有效日期將統一設定為每年的最後一日(12月31日)。

Current: Eligible community members can join or renew membership on any date in a year, which means the membership expiry date can fall on any random date in a year, making it difficult for members to pay the membership fee on time.

New: Eligible community members will join or renew membership and pay the membership fee at the beginning of the calendar year (the month of January), expiry date of membership will be defaulted to the last day of the calendar year (December 31).

現階段:部分會員聯絡方式久未更新,或是家庭成員資料不齊全。

未來:同鄉會將稽查統整所有會員資料,並確保所有聯絡方式、家庭成員、中英文姓名皆完整紀錄及更新於資料庫。

Current: Contact information may be outdated, or family members are not well documented for some members.

Future: An audit will be performed to ensure contact information, family members, and names (both Chinese and English) are all current and accurate.
愛城台灣同鄉會將利用接下來幾個月重新整理會員資料庫,並且可能會以實體活動、電子郵件、電話聯絡等方式向您確認您的會員資料,屆時希望各位能即時配合。
ETA will be using the next few months to reorganize the membership database as per the changes outlined above. You may also be asked to validate your information either at an upcoming event, through emails, or by phones. Your prompt support will be greatly appreciated.
