Edmonton River Valley Trails is a natural wonder. We will bike through parks, cross beautiful bridges, look at the river from the bridges, and get to see the beautiful downtown from both sides of the North Saskatchewan River.

You will need to arrive earlier if you want to rent a bike. Bike rental is on your own!
The tour begins at 10 am in Riverboat Parking Lot.
BIKING TOUR (20 people max)
Length of biking time: 2-3 hours (including sightseeing and rest stops)
Length of route : 12 kilometers
Things to know:
1. Mild uphills and downhills anticipated. Better bike with bicycles that have gears.
2. You can walk your bicycle up and down instead of biking. We take our time.
3. Bring your own snacks and drinks.
Route:
Going
* Meet at the parking lot, and bike along the river valley (south side) to the west.
*Sightseeing Waterdale Bridge
* Stop at Emily Murphy Park for a bathroom break. (This is the only one bathroom with a flushing toilet)
*Cross Dudley's B. Menzies Bridge
* Ride along the river valley (the north side) to the west
* Rest stop on the Edmonton Commonwealth Walkway ( near Government House Park ) (Toilet: Outhouse)
Returning
* Ride along the river valley (the north side) to the east
*Stop by 100 Street Funicular (rest, ride on the funicular and group photos)
* Cross the Tawatina LRT Footbridge (sightseeing the paintings on the bridge ceilings)
* Back to the parking lot.
