親愛的同鄉會會員們，大家好！ 因受到新型冠狀肺炎的影響，愛城台灣同鄉會經大會通知並在此宣佈2020年8月份的戶外民俗文化節已正式取消。愛城台灣同鄉會將以線上方式參加網路民俗文化節以推廣台灣文化。所有參與網路民俗文化節的相關內容和資訊已於2020年5月27日提交給大會審核。同鄉會也鼓勵所有的會員朋友們持續關注並於九月份時在線上瀏覽台灣館的內容，網路民俗文化節的資訊也會隨時為會員們更新。
此外，愛城台灣同鄉會今年為戶外民俗文化節所準備的活動及各方面作業也受到肺炎的影響而取消。同鄉會更是非常遺憾無法與已接洽的供應商及贊助商合作。為此，同鄉會對所有的供應商及贊助商表達由衷的歉意。我們也希望藉此機會，對所有支持我們的供應商及贊助商們表達深深的感謝，希望您們能夠持續的支持和協助本會，並期待我們在下一個民俗文化節能夠與您再度攜手合作，謝謝您。

We hope this letter finds you, your families and friends well, healthy and safe.
Please be advised that the outdoor Heritage Festival of 2020 is officially canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Edmonton Taiwanese Association will alternatively be participating in the Virtual Heritage Days Festival to promote the Taiwan Pavilion. Our board worked hard to create and submit the required content and information to the Virtual Heritage Festival committee on May 27, 2020.
Please stay tuned for a release date and weblink to be shared so ETA Members can browse the online Festival and the Taiwan Pavilion upon the completion of the upcoming Virtual Heritage Festival of 2020.
In addition, due to the COVID 19 circumstances, the Edmonton Taiwanese Association regrets to announce that our collaboration with the designated vendors, including SW T&T, Gong Cha, Teapsy, PLANT - PLUS, Formosa Bistro, Colorful Stones and FIND for the outdoor Heritage Festival of 2020 will result in termination this year.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. However, we would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude with your ongoing support and dedication to the Edmonton Taiwanese Association. We look forward to working with you again at the next Heritage Festival.
